How we started:

We started the company TonTan Travel, because we love travelling and we love the beauty of Thailand.
Tan, born in Thailand, successfully finished her university study at the faculty of Public Tourism Industry. She worked for some tour operators and in several hotels/ resorts, but always dreamed about starting her own company: organizing tours for the visitors that come to her home country. With the successful start of TonTan Travel, her dream came true.
Tan is the main guide of TonTan Travel. Her enthusiasm for her home country and her culture, and at the same time her interest in the culture of others, is written all over her face. She enjoys it and will definitely make sure that you will enjoy your time even more. Tan speaks English and of course the Thai language, so maybe she can even help you to learn more about the local language.

Other guides working for us:

While on tour, we met with local guides in different regions and even became friends with them. Nowadays, we work together with a number of guides. These local guides know their surroundings better than anyone and are dedicated to show the beauty of their region to the visitors who take the effort to come to their 'home'. All our guides have experience and the expertise about their region and speak English well. The naturalist guides in the nature parks have become one with the jungle and often spot wildlife or natural wonders you likely would have missed if travelling on your own. They know that if they make your visit memorable, you will likely spread the word and therefore help sustain their job and even more important, the areas where they work and live.
