Popular species include the hornbill species like the Great Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, and Oriental Pied Hornbill, Siamese Fireback, Silver Pheasant, Vernal Hanging Parrot, Red-breasted Parakeet, Scarlet Minivet, Red-headed Trogon, Coral-billed Ground-Cuckoo, Large-tailed Nightjar, Blue-winged Leafbird, Moustached Barbet, Greater Flameback, Crested Serpent-Eagle, Long-tailed Broadbill, Blue Pitta just to name a few.
As a travelling birder you probably know that without a good guide with local knowledge, it is hard to make a start in a new place. We work together with some of the top birders from Thailand with lots of experience throughout the whole country (and neighbouring countries), who recognize lots of birds by their calls. On our birding tours we will visit some popular stake-outs of birds, wander around in the jungle, track the sounds of birds and in some cases we even set off with a safari car with spotlight to look for nocturnal wildlife including birds like Nightjars and Owls.
