About Our Eco Tours & Trips:
Eco-tourism in Thailand is relatively new. Thailand is popular for its cultural highlights, great temples, ancient cities, and of course for its magnificent islands and beaches. If you mention the names of Thailand's national parks, some of the best preserved nature parks in South-east Asia, people often have no idea what you are talking about. Luckily, the number of eco-tourists is rising. In our opinion important for the survival of the endangered wildlife of Thailand.
A visit to a protected area always has its impact on the environment, but if we try to keep this impact as minimal as possible, eco-tourism will help protecting the forest and its inhabitants. If locals living on the borders of the parks notice they can make money of the tourists visiting the forests, they will likely take their chance instead of poaching for bush-meat or for the illegal trade in endangered species like tigers, clouded leopards, pangolins, elephants, gaur, and bears.
Support for protection of nature only can exist if people see with their own eyes what and why they should support this. Therefore, we lead our guests around in the greatest parks of Thailand to make them aware and we hope next generations can still enjoy it in the same way or even better!
