Kaeng Krachan - Why?
Wildlife tours in Kaeng Krachan national park of 3 days are a great way to discover the region's wildlife. Being the largest national park of Thailand, Kaeng Krachan is home to a wide range of animals including langurs, gibbons, macaques, civets, hornbills, elephants, leopards, snakes & much more. That alone is reason enough to pay this park a visit! But besides the biodiversity, the area offers great views of forested mountains untill the horizon. You won't regret it!

Kaeng Krachan Wildlife Tour | ITINERARY
Often enough, our itineraries get turned upside down; it is impossible to plan in nature, but here follows an example itinerary.
Day 1 (08:00AM or later; to ±19:00PM or later...)
We'll start the tour with a scenic slow drive into the park in search for wildlife. And afterwards start with our first jungle hike, today we keep it short. We'll have lunch in the camp's restaurant and in the late afternoon we'll explore the road up and down the mountain by car to look for more wildlife. After this drive it is already time for dinner. We will set up camp, and for those who dare we could do a bit of a night walk in the vicinity of the camp to look for nocturnal creatures like civets, porcupines, snakes, etc. Don't forget your torch/ flash light!
Day 2 (06:00AM to ±19:00PM or later...)
After an early breakfast, we'll start with a bumpy but scenic safari drive until we reach the trail head. There we hike through one of the most beautiful parts of the park, and besides that, an area where we have never seen other people. On the way we will pass huge trees, and little streams, and hopefully the wildlife will show themselves. When we reach the car again, we'll start the drive back to our base camp where we have lunch. After lunch we will do another afternoon game drive in search for more wildlife. We will have dinner back at the camp, and if you still have the energy maybe another night stroll around the camp.
Day 3 (06:00AM to ±17:00PM)
On the last day, we start again with an early breakfast before heading to the trail head. There we start another jungle hike following the Pranburi river. We will have to cross the stream 40+ times, so you might get wet feet. We will have lunch back at the camp. After lunch we will pack our stuff and we will start the last safari drive heading out of the park. The finishing time is flexible depending on where you have to go afterwards. We can drop you at the minivan stop in Kaeng Krachan town to catch the last minivan to Bangkok of 17:00PM.

Despite the higher visitor number and more developed infrastructure, Khao Yai national park is Thailand's best park for wildlife watching. And since we have a (small) team of guides in Khao Yai, we are still able to organize a wildlife tour for you in Khao Yai instead.
